Back Story

I have been putting off this Blog/Website idea for the longest time. I have been wanting to create a blog on algae because most people have no idea what is in their water. A while back, I started an instagram page dedicated to the algae I find daily for my job; thus #ScienceThursdays was created. I am fascinated with algae; the colors, the geometric shapes, and most incredibly of all, the size of them…measured in micrometers!

I will attempt to photograph and provide necessary details on a particular Algae every week, and maybe give post about some other things. I feel like people need to see and understand what is in the water around them…some picturesque and beautiful, while others are devastating and can have huge health hazards.
